Story: Chris Jericho showed his technical prowess in this match, as Yuji Nagata gave him everything he had and Jericho just kept coming. This was the best match of the night.


Rey Mysterio Jr. Def. Phycosis @ 10:24 With the Super Hurricanrana.
Story: Rey Mysterio and Phycosis put on one hell of a match. Rey Mysterio jr. will now face the winner of Juventud Guerrera and Ultimo Dragon for the #1 contendership for the Cruiserwieght title.

Mean Gene: With me at this time is the chairman of the executive committee of WCW, James J. Dillon. (Dillon walks in to camera View) We just saw the footage from the end of Monday Nitro and the exchanging of the World title from Scott Hall to "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan. and we hear you have news on that front.

J.J. Dillon: Well, Gene for anyone who has been on WCW.COM in the past few days knows that The WCW executive committee. Has been working hard trying to clear up all the complaints about this and When went through the WCW rulebook we found a rule on the Exchanging of the WCW title. It states that The WCW title can not change hands without a Match and is grounds for the Title being stripped. However the WCW executive committee decided to have the Fans vote on the fate of the WCW World title. so for the last few days fans that logged on to WCW.com had a chance to choose what happend. and they chose that Monday on Nitro three teams will face off and the team that wins will get to choose who the champion is. The teams are: Team Hollywood lead by "Hollywood" Hogan, Team WCW lead by Sting, and Team Hall lead by Scott Hall.

Mean Gene: Wow, J.J. Dillon that is quite a bombshell.

J.J. Dillon: I'm not done, Gene. The WCW executive committee has also come to the conclusion that since WCW Monday Nitro is now nWo Monday nitro. That the WCW has too much talent for a one hour show on Saturday night therefore this Thursday Tune into TBS at 8pm/7pm central for WCW Thunder. Also the WCW executive committee have noticed that since Eric Bischoff joined the nWo he has been showing alot of Favoritism lately and has let his job as WCW president fall by the wayside, so to say, and they have decided that we are in need of a new WCW president that will take the job seriously and we have found That very man. However he is not here tonight but he will be at Nitro on Monday where he promised us he will make a major impact.

Story: Benoit Took it to Glacier in this one. It was a very technical match up. And the Crippler Moves up another rung in his chase for the US championship.
